Who am I? Someone who thought of herself as the unlikeliest candidate to lace up a pair of running shoes on a regular basis or subscribe to Runner’s World.
I never thought I’d be running, let alone running marathons. And willingly, too! I gladly do so with the Team In Training program, which raises money to fight blood cancers and provides patient services for the millions living with these diseases. Since joining in 2005, I’ve run in 14 half marathons and 5 marathons. More importantly, I’ve raised over $13K for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and volunteer with Team In Training as a mentor and captain.
